Would you like to spend Christmas Eve together with other students?
It could be that you have to study or work, that your family is not nearby or maybe even in another country – or maybe you just want to try another way of spending this evening?
The Student Chaplains in Aarhus and Studenterhus Aarhus invite all students to celebrate a traditional Danish Christmas Eve on December 24th
Every year the Student Chaplains celebrate Christmas with all the students who want to join. A lot of different students come – from different studies and countries and for all kind of reasons.
If you play an instrument or have a special local Christmas tradition you are more than welcome to share! We always have a good time and good talks.
Join us for preparations if you like – Together we will make sweets and get in the right mood for Christmas. it will be around a week before Christmas Eve. The date for the preparation will be announced in November/December 2016.
Programme for Christmas Eve:
3 PM: we meet at i Studenterhus Aarhus Caféen,
Nordre Ringgade 3, 8000 Aarhus C, for æbleskriver and gløgg
4 PM: for those who wants we go together to the Christmas service at Møllevangskirken.
5 PM: We prepare for the evening
6 PM: Traditional Danish Christmas dinner.
Afterwards we dance around the tree, sing carols, open our presents – in short: We have a good time.
We plan to finish around midnigh
Price: 100 DK kr.
